Tien Len is the Vietnamese card game Tiến Lên, playable offline against the computer, on one device with friends, or online. If something is not working, or you want to ask for a feature, write to me directly.
I am one person, so I read every message myself. Expect a reply within a couple of days. When something is broken, it helps enormously if you include your device, your OS version, and what you were doing when it happened. You can also send feedback from the Support and Feedback screen inside the app, which attaches that detail for me automatically.
Questions that come up
Do I need an account to play? No. Games against the computer and pass and play with friends run entirely on your device, with no account and no connection. You only need an account for online play, and even then there is no email or password: you pick a display name and your device generates a random identifier for you.
How do I play online with a specific friend? Create a private lobby and share the code with them, or have them join yours. Quick match pairs you with whoever is looking for a game, and ranked mode puts you on the public leaderboard.
What is a passkey for? Your account normally lives on one device. Adding a passkey lets you sign in on your other devices with Face ID, so your stats, rating, and history follow you. The private key stays in your device's keychain, managed by Apple, and I never see it.
I want to play online but it is asking me for a passkey. Online play needs a passkey so your account can reach your other devices. Offline and pass and play never ask for one. If creating a passkey does not work, you can try again, and you can always keep playing offline in the meantime.
I lost access to my account. If you added a recovery email in your profile, you can request a sign-in link and open it on your device to get back in. If you never added one and you have lost the device, write to me with your display name and I will help however I can.
What does Premium add, and is it a subscription? Tien Len Premium is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. If you buy it and it does not appear on a device, tap Restore Purchases in Settings. Purchases follow your Apple Account, so they come back on any device signed in to it.
Can I delete my account and data? Yes. Email me at kylebrowning@me.com from any address, with your display name so I can find the account, and I will permanently delete your account and everything attached to it: display name, identifier, game history, statistics, and rating. The full detail is in the privacy policy.
A rule looks wrong. The rules are the part I care most about getting right. If a hand played out in a way you did not expect, tell me exactly what was on the table and what you were holding, and I will look into it.
